I'm developing an ASP.NET API in C#. I have developed a basic authentication, and i have tried and works fine if I using in different methods. The problem is that I only want to use that basic authentication to call /token method. If the user and password are correct I want to return the token (in /token method) and use it as a bearer in all the calls that I indicate with the verb [Authorize]. I also have to know what's the merchantId everytime that I get the token, so I can filter by that merchant. The merchantId I get it when I'm validating the user and password of the merchant in the basic authorization. I don't know if you are available to do that, and how much is going to cost. Thanks a lot!

- I have more than 10 years experience working with ASP.NET - If I understood your problem correctly, you'll be using basic auth to be able to call /token endpoint. Once the token is received, it will be part of subsequent request (e.g. request header) which will be validated by [Authorize] attribute. Some queries as follows: 1) Is the token generation logic already in place? If not then merchantId could be used in token generation logic so that it will be available in all requests as part of token. 2) Do you plan to encrypt the token or simply hashing the token will be fine? 3) What would be expiry time for the token?
