Need to insert data one by one at runtime but have a way using DataTable. You should assign each row in DataTable then insert all at a time.

I can build a webforms with gridview which enable the user to post bulk data and finally save in database. I need to look at the actual database and fields also need to implement data validation. Waiting to have some favorable words from your side to move ahead. Regards, Anis

I read your requirement, as per my understanding you want a grid with editable fields and once user enter the data it should be saved in the database, I can perform this task both in vb.net or C#.net. Hi there, I have understand your job description as you want to insert bulk data into database through gird-view using windows form. I can help you in making this as I have more than 6 years of experience in .NET and familiar with all the platform including windows forms, webforms, MVC. I will give you a solution in which you add new row in grid-view at run time write you data in it, although you can add as many rows you want and can insert all the data on just one click of button in data base. Hello I notice from your screen image that this appears to be a classic asp.net (vb/C#) listview control Some additional features are available with the gridview control which is the upgraded version of this in net 3.5/4.x however as provided no standard asp.net grid control permits bulk entry/edit of grid lines without a postback at each line. Therefore emulation of a Spreadsheet or SQL table Edit type control requires custom coding either client or server side or normally both. I use a number of different techniques to achieve similar results on a number of areas of my commercial admin (product line) and (sports) sites - Fixtures etc. sites. Using the inbuilt controls in VB the actual addition line is separated from the edit/delete grid with each new line being "shunted" into the grid on new/add or save with validation performed either client or server side. For bulk (multi-line entry) then the grid is built client side with javascript and validation/postback using classic form variable arrays and validation server side.
