We wrote a game back in the 1991 that was a great game running on DOS. The game needs to be converted from MS Visual C++ to Java or Objective-C for both Android and Iphone. (The original source is in our possession for guidance and reference) We are aware there are software converters out there but this also needs a human touch. The images with the game contained special adapted code to build our own images within the game to change play fields, move pieces and background. Remember back in 1991 nothing existed so we had to create what we wanted. Therefore the project is to convert all aspects of game to current mobile devices.
An NDA will be required as well as a transfer of rights and ownership as part of the deal. Estimated time to convert is 55-65 hours. Two versions will be required of each paid no advertisement and free advertisement supported.
Example of code
// void new_game();
// asks for verification if they want to start a new game, if not, nothing
// happens. If so, it first asks for a choice of starting boards.
int x,y, x1, y1;
int xsize, ysize;
int choice = 0;
int status, times_pressed;
x1 = 3;
y1 = 6; // on CANCEL.
board_file = fopen("[url removed, login to view]","rb");
fread(&xsize, sizeof(int), 1, board_file);
fread(&ysize, sizeof(int), 1, board_file);
for (y=0; y<ysize; y++)
for (x=0; x<xsize; x++)
An image of the game is located here:
