Recipe book sample

I am putting together some simple apps/webpages to demonstrate some app development concepts. I could create these with standard 'Lipsum' text, but it will look better if I create a few samples with more realistic content. For this reason I want to create a simple recipe book and a simple guide book/brochure. I am submitting these as two separate jobs. You don't need to understand anything about app development - I only need sample content. It would work like this: User sees a list of recipe categories (on phone or tablet). They tap on a category and see a list of recipes; they tap on a recipe to see the usual recipe like content. - a picture of the finished dish, introduction, a list of ingredients and instructions to make it. (The concept that is being demonstrated is just lists of information linked to pages of content - it tends to work differently on phones and tablets) Recipes need to be in categories - for example 'Desserts', 'Vegetarian' 'Fish Dishes', 'Meat Dishes' - As this is only a sample I only need say three categories. You can decide which categories to write recipes for. (the ones above or completely different ones - be creative) Each category has a number of recipes - again as this is a sample I only need two recipes for each category, so thats a total of six recipes. It might be useful to write recipes with a theme. The type of organisation who would benefit from an app/website like this might be a specialist supplier. For example, if your company is the leading supplier of Asparagus, an app called '101 Great Asparagus Recipes' would help promote your product. Or the Thai tourist board could have an app on their website with Thai recipes. I leave that to your imagination, but if there is a 'back story' to the recipes, then it will be make a more interesting sample. I would also like content for a short introduction page. Again its only sample content - less that 100 words will be fine. 'Welcome to the wonderful world of cooking with Haddock......' So in summary, deliverables will be - short intro page - six recipes in three categories (you can provide more, but it isn't necessary, and I'll just have more work to format them to go into the app) - A picture of each dish. (A pic taken with your cellphone camera will probably do nicely) - Each recipe needs a title and short 'sub-title' description: this is what appears in the recipe lists. For your application, please state the theme, and the names of the recipes you propose to write. Please state the cost of this work. (I will pay a fixed price for the agreed deliverables) Please describe your writing background/relevant experience Please provide some sample writing (or link to something you have written online) (PS if you have a really super idea for a recipe book app, I might actually be interested in doing the complete thing, but that is outside the scope of this job and would be a separate discussion. I won't consider that in picking the winning application)
