Texan Energy Services - The HR/Payroll Administrator will work closely with both the HR and Payroll Department to assist in the day to day operations of the HR and Payroll functions and duties. The HR/Payroll Administrator will report directly to the Payroll and Benefits Manager. Job Details: Assist in payroll activities for the bi-weekly and weekly processing of payroll, and changes to payroll…i.e. timecards, W-4 and direct deposit, process new hire and separation requests. Assist in recruiting and staffing logistics including submitting and analyzing background checks, creation of offer letters and employment agreements, and new hire onboarding. Maintain and organize department policies and procedures Organize and maintain all record keeping including scanning of all data and proper filing within department files. Enter and update personnel changes Audit time and attendance records for hours worked, managers’ approvals, paid-time-offs Provide customer service to all staff employees, managers and sales personnel. Coordinate distribution of payroll and benefits information (W-2, annual benefit notices, etc.) Generate email correspondence as needed Other duties as assigned Education and Experience: 1-3 years of administrative experience; positions with a Payroll or HR Department is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Intermediate skills in MS Office, Strong Excel skills is a plus Excellent customer service skills Ability to successfully manage time and meet deadlines, often under pressure Exceptional collaborative skills and enthusiasm for teamwork Flexibility and ability to adjust priorities in fast-paced environment Benefits Annual bonus Health Insurance Job Type: Full-time License or certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Language: English & Spanish (Required)
