data base files convert to excel xls files

Dear Employer, Please share your 7K .CAD files and I will convert them to an Excel database. I guess the one that attached is one of them. Please share all of them. I know mine is possibily the most expensive but there is a cost of quality. I do quality job, my reviews will testify that and I just charge fair for it. Hi. I took a look at the data and found 903 different lines of text and numbers. One thing to note is that Excel 2003 has a limit of 256 columns, so those 903 datapoints won't fit into xls. So, it appears you have ~7,000 files each with ~903 columns. Are these columns positional? I didn't see any metadata regarding what each number/text datapoint was. Do you have any more information about the '*.car'? There seems to be different types. At this point the main solution I can offer is to extract the ~900 columns of data from the ~7,000 files, and whatever order I see the data will be the positional-column I place it in. I can make the data a CSV, which will allow you to read it in Excel; although, you may still run into problems if you don't read it in at least version 2007 b/c of that 256 column limitation in 2003. -Don
