MCA post graduate with 2+ years of total experience in the IT/Software industry and relevant 2 Year in Windows Server/Client Administration, Unix/Linux Administrator and Technical L2/L3 Support & System Engineer. • As a System Administrator L2/L3, I am responsible for handling Global shared Data Operations, Backup & Restore. • Managing Production Servers of Windows Server 2008/2003/2000 Environment • Working on Symantec NetBackup and Restore technologies and vFiler storage. • Supporting around 2000+ servers remotely located across UK and North America • Managing and administration of Users, Groups and Domain in Active Directory. • Managing user access security, assignment of access rights to user objects and sharing of network resources and applications in the server and troubleshooting • Performing Daily, Weekly & Monthly BAU activities (Early, Compliance & Late). • Checking Server Disk Space, Hardware check using CIM & HIM, Backup Logs in Early Check. • Data management on Storage Devices (NAS & DFS) • Resolving Disk space issue by Migrating Users data from one server to other Server. • Resolving HPIM Server Issue by upgrading Firmware of ILO and Array Controller, by replacing server Faulty Parts by co-ordination with Local Desktop Team. • Checking Antivirus, EPO, Server Events Logs, Backup Failures, Server Upgrade & Downgrade Information, ESM Justification, Security Patches, Server Administration in Compliance Check. • Work and Resolve server issue like Network Teaming, Server Reboot, Server administration, through ILO. • Patches Deployment, Checking Print queue issue, Robocopy Monitoring & Running Schedule Tasks in Late Shift. • Managing 200 File & Print Servers with Windows 2003 based in UK Remotely. • Backup Restoration using Legato Networker, Net Backup and Snapshot Restoration. • Working on Virtual Tickets (VT), Virtual Requests (VR), Service management (SN INC) & Virtual Changes (RFC & CHG) for Server Issues. • Creating Print queues for printers & Print Servers. • Checking issues related to the Thin Client Printer. • Creating Home drives / Shares for Users / Group. Maintain Group Ownership information & resolve problems related to Home drive & Share issues. • Providing customer service and understanding the needs of the client. • Worked and Excellent understand of ITIL process.
