Dear Sir, I have used STM32 since 2012. I know both of it's hardware and firmware issues. I also have experience in designing your hardware requirement, such as Ethernet, USB, serial, Isolated I/O, etc. especially for Ethernet, we need to discuss wether we will use Ethernet PHY like on STM32F7(we can refer to it for this part), or we can use Ethernet module like Wizznet. it's up to you. I will use e to design this board, And if it's not limited by dimensions constraints, 2 layer is enough I think. I will use Eagle for this project. I can show you my STM32 based project boards. To begin with, a little word about me. I'm a Research Electrical Engineer at the E-TESC lab in Sherbrooke's University. Our lab is specialized in the power chain of electric vehicles. My research is to highly increase the frequency of power converters in order to reduce passive components sizes. This implies a very precise and large knowledge in circuit design including high di/dt and dv/dt while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility, signal integrity and timing constraints. Why should I design your circuit? Well, I've been designing high level PCB for 6 years now, and learned from many mistakes to build myself a practical knowledge that you can't find in books. Perfectionism is mandatory when it comes to PCB design as it is mandatory to deliver in time. Many will disagree, but I consider circuit design as a form of art with the aim of being right the first time. Clear topology and schematics, decoupling, filtering design, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, stack up selection, trace impedance, surface finishes and so on, are all part of my theoretical/practice knowledge. Your project interests me because I worked a lot with the STM32, especially the STM32F446 that is currently use for my project. I will still need more information about the whole project, but it is clearly a project in my capabilities. I am an electronic designer specialized in embedded systems. I have more than 10 years developing systems from pcb to applications. I've designed carrier boards for ARM soms and display boards(using hdmi and lvds). I have also designed small boards for MSP430, STM32 and Microchip microcontrollers. All boards had to be IEC 61000-compliant. I have used Altium and CADENCE. From software perspective, I have experience using Iar, Atollic and gcc for cortex M processors. I have customized linux distributions using yocto(including dts modifications), and wrote small drivers. I also have developed arduino projects.
