Master of Ceremonies

Master of Ceremonies Needed I am thinking about holding a virtual book-launch party. I am investigating the possibility of using a master of ceremonies (meeting host) for the event. The event is not scheduled but will not be before the middle of December. The party will be one hour long and we will have a separate Zoom producer managing the technology. Plan on your total involvement being approximately 2-3 hours to do the preparation work, agenda run-through with the participants the day before and tech check, and on the day of the event arrive at least 15 minutes early and stay to the end. Your role (tentative and by negotiation between us) will be to greet participants as they arrive, official, on-time start, introduce the program, introduce two entertainers, introduce me, moderate Q&A and discussion, segue to me for closing remarks, and, maybe, you having the last word for the formal sign-off - - -something like that.
