TutorTech is a small firm specialised in academic tutoring for IGCSE and International Baccalaureate students. We are looking for a freelancer, with relevant knowledge in Excel VBA, who can supply our team with an automated invoicing program.
When assessing the following information, please look at the uploaded Excel document, which shows how our team would like the document to be laid out. Also, it is important for you to check the comments in the cells, as these will guide you in your task.
The ‘add new client’ button will redirect to a user form will need to include the following:
- Information about the client:
Invoice ID, Date of invoice, First name, Last name, Gender, Age, Address, Postcode, Country, Email
- Information about the service offered:
Name of tutor, Tutoring Subject, Number of hours required, Price per hour
- Information about the payment:
Payment method (cash or card), Card number, Expiry date, Cardholder name
Besides this, we will require the creation of interactive graphs or tables showing:
- Ranking of most profitable subjects
- List of hours spent on each subject
- Tutors who are working the most?
- Client which has paid the most?
In addition, we require 4 buttons, which activate the following macro codes:
Refresh - by pressing this button, information in the table (I.e. item, tutoring subject, tutor name, number of hours, price per hour and subtotal) and client details (I.e. date, client name, address, ZIP, country) will be erased from the front page (although it will be saved in the database of the other sheets)
Save as PDF – by pressing this button, cells (A1:G40) of the Excel document will be saved as PDF
Print – by pressing this button, the user will be directed to the ‘printing window’
Send via email – re-direct to laptop’s email system to send the invoice (we work with Apple Macbooks)
We would require the application by Friday 24th February 2020. Our maximum budget for the project is USD $62 and a proficient understanding of English will be a plus when choosing our freelancer.
