Compound Dear Sir / Madam The issue here is that the power of compounding is seen only when you advance in number of years. I think it is difficult to work in 'few years' before you buy your house. The prudent thing would be to invest in systematic monthly investments in stocks over a longer time horizon and to postpone the decision of buying the house. With best regards, Vinit Ketkar
