receipt builder from spreedsheet data

I have a spreadsheet of data that I need to output printable receipts that group and calculate receipt totals. Was thinking in google docs/sheets or Microsoft word excel or access, but open to suggestions? would like to export the receipts to a digital output (pdf?), like a printed mail merge Every line item has a transaction id that links the grouped items that belong together on each receipt, so each grouped transaction will have 1 to several items per receipt.
