I have a poetry collection I'm re-publishing. Some of the poetry has been in a variety of different publications that have used various illustrations of their own. The book used to include color photos, but I'd like an artist to do simple b&w illustrations for a more cohesive look/style. There are 28 poems but not all need be illustrated. I want the artist to work on what speaks to him/her, not force the creative. However, I'd expect at least a minimum of 10 illustrations. The budget for this project is $200. The poetry is a mix of traditional inspirational, spiritual and some light avant garde. Take a look at the samples before submitting a quote. After the hired illustrator has taken a look at a PDF, we will agree on which poems you'd deliver illustrations for before beginning the project. I'd need high-res digital PNG files of each illustration before January 1.
