We currently have a patient payment portal that is completely out of date. We want to have it updated and with a much better look and feel. I have attached a file of our current patient payment portal(1-Current Patient Portal Attachment) and this link will show you what we would like our patient portal to be like([login to view URL]) - not exactly, but similar. We need to have this completely updated.
This site needs to be built in a PHP. Once built, we will house on our server, where it is secure for U.S. HIPAA laws to be followed. Our current software and databases are .dbf files and are being ran on an AS400, which has an OS400.
All recurring payments have their credit cards stored on our server, which have the cards encrypted and at rest. Our IT mentioned something about an L-Debtor and Cybersource, which I hope means something to you as the software designer.
All historical transactions are housed on our servers. When payments are made, the patients credit cards are ran through Wells Fargo Business Portal. If we can incorporate all this in to our site, that would be much easier.
Once this is built, it needs to be able to plug and play with our AS400, which should require the minimal work possible for our IT to get this running in sync with our system.
Once this project is complete, we will be moving to have the entire website of our company revamped and completely overhauled. But, we need this project to be completed first. We will integrate with our current system, built on a PHP platform, and once completed, this portion will be housed on our servers, due to HIPAA laws and regulations in the U.S.
We want a new design, a new feel, and something very easy for our patients to make payments online with credit cards and checks, and will also allow our customers to view their statements online, which will pull from our system as well. We would like to have the ability to have them create custom username and passwords, after entering in their Customer ID# and other information to verify their account, again, following the U.S. HIPAA Laws.
We would like to see if we can generate automatic emails to be sent out on a monthly basis to more than 25,000 accounts (or more) and to have the ability to send text message alerts to notify clients of payments due, payments made, payment due date reminders, etc.
If we can have an app built, to have the patients pay using their app, that would be fantastic, as well, but we need to know the additional cost to add an app to the site.
I've set the budget at a very small project, but would like to receive bids so I can present to my boss as to what it would cost to complete the project and get started on this ASAP.
