Job description We are looking for a creative Designer with a passion for Website and Mobile Application Design. We are looking for a meticulous and innovative front end coder, and developer to work with our designers. Applicant must have an eye for detail. Be self motivated, hard working with the ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask. Must be able to work in a team and have a desire and passion to produce mind blowing work. Must also have own transport and equipment. Your responsibilities as a web designer • Designing website experience for minimum of three years. • Designing of Mobile Applications • Strength in Joomla and/or WordPress a must. • High level HTML and CSS knowledge. • Creative Suite Proficient (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Advantageous • Basic JavaScript and PHP advantageous. • Email and hosting support further advantageous. Your responsibilities as a mobile app developer We’re seeking a creative iPhone and Android mobile application developer who thinks outside the box and can push the limits. We want to see your portfolio! You will be responsible for every step of the development process, from brainstorming product ideas, to pushing apps out the door. You must also be able to maintain these apps to ensure they continue to function flawlessly across new iOS and Android releases. You must have the following skills: 1. Expert knowledge of jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript 2. Expert knowledge of iOS SDK or Android SDK 3. Mobile frameworks (Appcelerator, PhoneGap, Sencha, jQuery Mobile) experience. Requirements: 1. Two+ years of overall iOS and Android development. 2. Strong Objective-C skills and inside-and-out knowledge of the iOS SDK. 3. Strong Java skills with extensive knowledge of the Android SDK. 4. Experience using and creating scalable web-based APIs. 5. Object Oriented PHP skills at all scales. 6. Exceptional organisational and project management skills. 7. Demonstrated success in defining and launching mobile apps. Bonus points: 1. You exhibit impressive UI/UX skills. 2. You also have Python/Django/JSOND skills. 3. You like poking around at private iOS APIs. 4. You’re familiar with “hybrid” apps (web views wrapped around a native app). Traits • An eye of detail and design. Must be passionate about the technology industry. Self taught developers have as much chance as someone with a degree – both must have a strong portfolio.
