Data Detector and Manager Requirements, features and specifications. Build and design a website and app that will manage specific type of data. Phase 1: The website will store emails and other data. The data will be captured either through email or by being captured by an app which will convert an image taken by the smart phone picture into text. For email, it will include a plug-in? With the ability to set up an automatic forwarder for any detected specific data from the regular email service the user has for example gmail, Hotmail, yahoo to be forwarded to the site. Users will also forward data from their email they have received to the site from their regular email service. The website opening page will describe what the site does and allow uses to make accounts Once users have an account, They will receive a unique email address for the site to send all of their emails that contain the specific data. Users will log into the website. The main user page will be a similar to an email service page which contains a list of all recent emails and emails created by the app. The user will be able to enter into any email to see its details. The site will store the original data or image and create a standardized form of the data. The main page list of data will be in the standardized form email. Contained in it will be an option to view the original data. The site will capture specific data from the original data in order to create the standardized form. The data will take the form of text and images The site will be able to look up online or scan a list to complete the standardized data if necessary. Phase 1.1 The App The App will allow users to take a picture of the data and view the converted text and be able to edit it and confirm it. In the app, the user will be able to access and search past data. Phase 1.2 We will design a data template which will mirror our standardized form and can be offered to third parties in order to help them set up their email data system and which will help us retrieve data. Phase 1.3 The main page will have a right hand column for advertising. The site will search the data and display ads which match them. Ads will be loaded into the site based on different criteria. Phase 2. Data Management On the main page there will be a search function which will be able to bring up a list of emails that contain the search criteria On a new page The user will be able to do a search for specific data and bring up a list of all the items that contain the search criteria. Phase 3 Advanced management. On this page users will be able to build an advanced management system. Through a series of prompts the user will choose specific criteria themselves. The site will produce a page which shows each category and items and the criteria awarded to it. The site will be able to compare data and produce reports. The site will allow the user to designate items into categories if it is not automatically picked up or edit them if they are wrong. This will be available in a list of all items which will show the item, the detected category and the option to edit or add. The user will be able to set up alerts which will cause flags to appear on the email list next to data which include items that are within the alert criteria. The user will be able to make reports organized by categories, items, etc.
