I would like to hire a Linux Developer

I am after a replication of a Linux OS that is open source at the moment. I have started a security business which will offer residential and business security monitoring in the UK and also in south Africa with all of the previous services plus armed protection. I have extensive expertise in this area as been in the military for 10 years but the opportunity has fruitfully arisen to move on. I will be supplying my own top end IP cameras on a sales and contractual basis. These built high quality manufactured parts in my shell and i am branding them under my company name. Other products are been designed and are in the prototype stages as we speak. These include DVRs wirless motion sensors and wifi doorbell alarms, Mass production contracts are on going as we speak. The core of this project is due to me having very little expertise in coding and everything i know, created and adapted has been self thought. I have come to the very sad realisation that i cannot push myself anymore in this field without neglecting other areas of the bushiness development. Due to the worry of overstretching and burning myself out i have come to the decision i will outsource software development projects out as myself and my partners will focus on sales distribution and the execution of the service while managing staff and legal. What this means to you? Firstly my core project at the moment is i am using Linux based micro computers as the foundation of my design so the first task is adapt the OS i have been using. Very little work is needed here as i have sourced it all myself, it just needs adapting. There is tiny things i need modifying for me to be 100% happy with it as i am a perfectionist. Secondly i will be asking for a multi platform app to be designed to coincide with this OS and GUI which will need to accept either HTTPS or equivalent. This is the main factor for me outsourcing as i am aware i need the app design and also something to monitor all these streams. this needs to be my end with a integrated database which i understand may be an extensive task. Last but not least i may be after a indefinite freelancer to continue with the projects development and maybe considering hiring or handing shares in the UK to manage these. This obviously is based on many factors but the possibility is there as due to the projections, business plan, market research and confirmed interest in the products and services it is a succsessful business model is already. Due to me being located in SA as that is where my expertise lie. The firearms and man management side i will be manage but the UK will be need minimal staff and resources compared to south Africa so this is why the opportunity is present as the software management side of things can be managed minimally from anywhere.
