Description
Express-O is a proof of concept application that keeps track of coffee recipes and baked goods for a local coffee shop. The application is meant to be a single user application without login, registration, or security.
Requirements
● The core feature of the program is to be able to create, view, delete and update coffee drink recipes.
● The application should allow the user to create, view, and update individual ingredients for the coffee recipes.
o Ingredients have a name, average cost to purchase, and unit of measure (ex: expresso, $ 0.50, Shot)
o Assume that the average cost to purchase is known by the user and the application is not calculating that for them. The price should be represented as US dollars.
o Assume that the unit of measure is known by the user and the application does not need to convert units of measure
o The intent of ingredients is not to keep inventory at this time.
● The application should allow the user to create, view, update, and delete bakery goods for sale.
o Bakery goods have a name, average cost to purchase, vendor name from where they are purchased, a list of known allergens (e.g. wheat, peanuts, fish), and category.
o Assume that the average cost to purchase is known by the user and the application is not calculating that for them. The price should be represented as US dollars.
o Assume the vendor name is the name of the company that makes the item (e.g. Sallies Bakery Emporium).
● The application should have a coffee shop theme in the UI.
● The application should validate data before it is changed in the database.
● The application should have a web interface for the user, data should be stored in a database, and should follow a MVC RESTful design or an MVVM design.
● Unit Test coverage
o All services and validation code has 80% unit testing coverage
● Selenium or Nightwatch Testing
o All pages have Selenium tests (at least happy path)
● The application will be implemented using Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
