Develop a simple communication iOS app (1 iPad to 1 iPhone)

Looking to develop a communication application for iOS that will improve communication between teachers (supervisors) and students at a audio school. The purpose of the application is to replace the current communication system consisting of walkie-talkies. These are currently used by the students to contact a supervisor when they are in need of help with their ongoing studies in any of the various music studios that are available for booking on the premises. We need an iPad to iPhone combination to replace this system. From my understanding, the Xcode "Multi Peer Connecticity Framework" is the best way for these devices to communicate with each other. This is what the application needs to be able to do: The iPad will be placed at a central location in the premises. From there, the students is presented to a menu where they can specify in which studio they’re working in. The GUI here is supposed to be similar to FIG. 2: When you click on eg "Studio 2" you will be taken to a new page with options for what you need help with in that specific studio (see Fig. 3). When the student press one of these options the information should be sent to an iPhone as a pre-programmed message in the form of eg "Open/Close Studio 2". This information should be displayed on the iPhone in list form (newest first). There should also be a function to check off the "requests" that has been treated. Please write ”SupiPad” with your bid to prove that you’ve read the description. The application requires no advanced graphics. Just need it simple and effective. I have attached a proposed simple GUI and a flow of the communication between the students and the supervisor.
