Looking for someone for a range of duties for our manufacturing business. We specialise in environmental products. We have just one product currently available with several others in development. Most customers are business customers but we receive customer enquiries from a range of people. Check us out at [url removed, login to view] if you like
Workload is expected to be around 25- 30 hours per week, possibly more depending on the skills.
Start ASAP if possible but within 30 days
We are based in Perth GMT +8 so we would prefer someone with a similar timezone. GMT +9/10/11 also OK
The duties are as follows: Duties marked 'optional' are desirable, but not essential
ORDER PROCESSING: Orders are received by email. Invoice is created and sent to our warehouse. Shipping details are then entered for the invoice and the customer is notified by email. (estimate 1- 2 hours per day)
PRODUCT SUPPORT: Respond to customer enquiries with product information (product data, FAQs and training provided) (estimate 1 hour per day)
SALES LEADS AND CRM MANAGEMENT: research potential customers (from google and directories) and enter the data into the CRM. Contact leads by email/ fax/ post (maybe phone depending on English skills) (estimate 5 hours per week). Commission can be paid on sales
SEO, TWITTER, WEBSITE MANAGEMENT (optional)
Help establish and manage social networking, link building, website content, and general online presence (estimate 5 hours per week)
ACCOUNTS (optional): Send overdue notices and statements to customers once per month (estimate 5 hours per month)
COMPETITOR AND MARKET RESEARCH (optional): internet research about competitors, products, upcoming events etc. (estimate 2 hours per week)
GOOGLE ADWORDS MANAGEMENT (optional): Managing the business online marketing
REPORT WRITING: Weekly activities should be documented and sent as a weekly report
A typical day would involve processing a few orders, responding to any sales enquiries and then spend a few hours on sales leads or website management/ SEO. We use 'Info at Hand' (sugarCRM) as our CRM and invoicing. It is simple to use and training will be provided. The website is a wordpress based site with 'scribe' SEO plugin on a Thesis theme. Sales leads would be mostly generated from searching Google or online directories
We are also interested in additional marketing, graphic design, CAD/ 3d modelling (product design), engineering (domestic buildings), video production. Also accounting and business analysis/ cashflow These could be provided by the applicant or by a third party. They are not essential skills for bidding on the project. If you can provide any of these skills please specify in your bid.
Applicants are responsible for internet connection costs. All additional costs including phone calls, marketing, postage etc will be paid by us (employer)
Please bid based on a monthly cost. You may also prefer to bid as an hourly rate and a monthly fee can be negotiated after doing the job for some time.
