Full Stack Javascript Engineer -

We've built a social media film web application to democratize film and filmmaker discovery and distribution. This software developer role is an opportunity to work with a highly mature, reliable team of founders on a highly mature product. We launched a private alpha, and we are on track to release a public beta in 2020. Two founders are paying for the build. Everyone else is contributing their time. The co. has been selected as a "Google Startup" by Google's Firebase team. We are a team of three UI/UX designers, one product owner/ scrum master/ project manager and three law firms, working pro bono. We have two patents and are partnered with the largest film school associations. The successful candidate will need to pass an initial coding test. Upon success, a detailed, honest conversation will follow with our product demo. We want to make sure you are as passionate about the product and mission. Requirements: mid-level to mature knowledge of javascript and strong desire to advance good working knowledge of git, react, node.js, and cloud server management experience or desire to work on full stack; in addition to the above, stack includes: Google Firebase, storybookjs, couchdb, and mobx work with product owner / scrum master to facilitate development and daily deployment, helping oversee the work of our offshore partner management of SDLC deployment pipeline and contributing to research & development as needed special projects as needed, e.g. migrating film assets from S3 bucket to firebase bucket experience managing developers and SDLC and/or desire to learn strong, clear communicator enjoy making the complex simple integrity, true to self and others able to balance life, daily responsibilities with creative work Preferred: mature character, big heart, open mind, flexible attitude a leader who sees the system and the details from a balanced perspective a person who loves helping and collaborating
