Hi, I have a ubuntu server. Sometimes the server gets high CPU and RAM. I've installed LAMP server. it has several apps written in PHP. something strange is happening. Many times my server gets high usage of resources. when it happened, Mysql Server is down, because RAM is high. I checked apache log and often I see many requests from the same server. Requests are like this: IP the ip the server- - [17/Jan/2020:22:07:28 +0000] "HEAD /node/4148 HTTP/1.0" 200 5826 "-" "Drupal (+[login to view URL])" IP the ip the server - - [17/Jan/2020:22:07:28 +0000] "HEAD /node/4149 HTTP/1.0" 200 5822 "-" "Drupal (+[login to view URL])" I see a lot of requests from the same server. I don't know why. Please, I need a Linux expert.

Hi, If the request is from same IP, then try to find the count of the IP and if it is unusual, then immediately block that IP. It could be DDOS attack. Thanks

I can certainly monitor and analyze the server in search of any exploits and or try to detect why there is a high cpu and ram usage. This doesn't mean I can actually solve it but I can certainly tell you which processes are the ones behind this issue. In case it is some issue with someone trying to DOS your server I can set up a rule in the firewall to mitigate this. Anything further than this is another price tag. Let me know.

Hi, I can analysis the server at system level to understand which "process/thread of the process is causing the problem" and what is wrong with that. You could run below command and share output on chat. cat /proc/cpuinfo cat /proc/meminfo top -H -b ps -aux "strace" is one of a quick system call debugging utility which helps on find the problem quickly.
