What do you mean by edges? Curbs or edges of all elongated objects found by Canny edge detector? ?

Hi.. I plan to use Hough Transform for road edge detection or blob analysis in case road is curvy... I gave already done many such projects . I have also published two IEEE transaction papers n two patents while working in IIT Kharagpur.
