In my simple lever arrangement, force applied at one end of the spring-mounted lever causes the lever to strike the plate at Point X. I just need you to find the best Arduino sensor to read the pressure at Point X, and modify the CAD file I have provide to incorporate it.

In general, load cell seems the most suitable. But there are a lot of parameters that should be taken in account (lika dynamics, ranges etc). Please feel free to contact me in chat for discussion.
