Looking to hire Senior MS SQL Database Developer. My team needs someone to write and cleanup complex SQL queries & scripts. I will provide detailed explanation for each job, source data, and how the data needs to look after script. Essential Functions (e.g., in order to be considered to perform this position, the person must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities listed below): Design and develop complex SQL queries and appropriate database code such as stored procedures, triggers, functions to support complex business processes. Develop ad-hoc scripts, including cleanup scripts as needed. Review and update stored procedures for optimal performance. Identify and correct performance bottlenecks related to SQL code. Recommend changes to the relational data model to solve performance issues with SQL code. Requires a solid understanding of relational database design and concepts. Monitor and troubleshoot SQL jobs using available tools such as SQL Profiler; review logs and triage issues. Education and Experience: 5 plus years of experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment (with recent experience using SQL Server 2012 and above). 2 plus years of experience with MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Qualifications: Highly proficient with SQL Server and strong programming skills with SQL including complex SQL programming, stored procedures and performance tuning. Extensive knowledge of T-SQL. Solid understanding of principles of database design and modeling as well as data quality best practices. Expert knowledge of stored procedure writing and best practices. Solid experience with SQL tuning to improve query performance. Ability to learn new technical skills easily and troubleshoot data-related issues and errors. Proven experience writing stored procedures for maintaining data.

Hi I have been working with MSSQL for over 14 years. I am fully experienced as a developer and a DBA. Currently I am working at big financial organization in which I am responsible for the BI department. I have designed and the Developed the Organization’s Reporting Database which has been constructed with SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. The database is being updated daily from the core system with txt or excel files via SSIS or with direct connection at mainframe’s DB2 and a numerous of KPIS are being daily updated during the ETL. For isolation reasons the KPIS are replicated to another DB (with transactional replication) which exploits the reports via SSRS to the consumers. Some KPIS are being replicated with merged (bidirectional) replication. Also, 10 Cubes in SSAS are being daily automatically processed and the end of the ETL. Several other reports are daily automatically produced and sent via email to the recipients. Finally I have designed and developed the bank’s crm DB which is published on the intranet. The DB holds full information about the customers (Customers,Addresses , Financial Data , Contacts , campaigns , etc) and covers 4 countries. To achieve this i have made partitions over the country code. The size of the Reporting DB, is about 4TB and consists of about 4.000 objects and the replicated KPI DB is 350GB. Best Regards mpalgeo
