Hi, We are a Team of Amazon SysOps certified engineers based in Dublin, we have more then +2 years experience with amazon AWS and more than +5 years as Linux SysOps. Regarding your questions: 1. We will be using AWS Autoscaling groups and CodeDeploy to get the system to work as expected. 2. We will use Atlassian products: Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket 3. If we implement point 1 correctly, the system will be self healing and scalable 4. Git repositories and versioning and Dev and UAT environments will be the best idea for testing. 5. Backups on codedeploy are manage by AWS and code is store automatically in s3, regarding the EC2 instances, ASG will get rid of any failing instance and launch new one from the original instance (Also in s3). DR sites can be configure in different regions, but for small project placing EC2 instances in different AZ is more than enough, and using ELBs we can safely move from on to the other in case of failure, and balancing while both are working. 6.
