Hello,
I could manage this for you, should be easy enough, but will need to know the following if possible.
1- Do you have root access to the machine? (root/sudo is a must, no root/sudo, no luck).
2- what MySQL version are you running?
3- Is the server storage located on the same server or is it a network based file system (or write speed to disk)?
4- What is the max opened files settings on the OS?
5- what linux distro are you running?
--------------------
To get this info:
1- root or sudo, no command, since you should already know your access level on the server.
2- commnd: mysql -u root/mysql_user -p
This should ask for your mysql password, after you login run the following query: SHOW VARIABLES LIKE "%version%";
3- run the following 2 commands:
A- cat /etc/fstab
B- dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/output bs=8k count=50k; rm -f /tmp/output
4- Run this command: ulimit -aS , Then this command: ulimit -aH
5- one of those commands should work:
A- cat /proc/version
B- cat /etc/issue
C- cat /etc/os-release
