"In today’s world, the major security threat is due to Phishing attacks. Phishing attack makes web users believe that they are communicating with a trusted entity for the purpose of stealing account information, log in credentials, and identity information in general. This attack method most commonly initiated by sending out e-mails with links to spoofed website that harvest the information.
Solution :- we want the solution the for the above described problem . user can give our idea and can solve the problem . else i am describing the solution .
Our Solution :- We propose a methodology to detect and prevent the phishing attacks on e-mail. In its more general form it is an end user application that uses hyperlink feature set to detect phishing attacks and digital signature to prevent the attack. Thus our application will act as an interface between a user and its e-mail service provider to provide secure communication. We believe that this will
be a better and more cost effective way to prevent people from losing their private information due to phishing.
Hi, because my field of research is machine learning/prediction, I'd suggest something that I already know is being used. A machine learning algorithm can be used to first detect some features specific to those kind of emails, we need some dummy data first. AND then we test it on some testing data set a which again contain similar emails set, to find out whether such a prediction holds true. This is usually applies to predict whether it is a SPAM or a HAM. Then those emails with possible phishing attacks can be redirected to the spam folder instead of the inbox.
