298742 Content Management System

Hi, I would like a dynamic content management system. This is a relatively easy, simple project for must of you. It is fine if you are modifying existing script. However, the management system needs to have the following features implemented. 1.) Category editing Admin will be able to add/edit/remove categories. Products will be added under different categories. When we are creating tables in MySQL via tools like phpmyadmin, we are asked to input Table name and number of fields. Similarly, when creating the category, I would want to input the name of the category, and input fields of the category. Once the fields of the category are set, everytime I add a new product under that category, I will be asked to fill in values for those fields. So for clothing category, I may need to input the values for size, fabric and color for each product that I add. For category such as CD players, I would be inputing values of different kind of fields. (obviously fabric type does not apply to cd players.) 2.) Product editing Other than filling in values for fields that I created when the admin creates the category, there should be another field for html codes. Back to the clothing example, if I have size, color, fabric and description fields created at first. When I add a product under that category, I will be filling in all those values and in addition, a html field where I can fill in any html codes I want. Another field for adding a link to the picture. 3.) Product display After a category is created, a page would be created displaying all products under that category. So if I create clothing category, a page such as [login to view URL] should be generated, and it will display all products under that category. 2 modes in displaying products, and admin should be able to select which mode to use. The outpage page could a) lists every product in details (like 20 per page or so.) or b) lists every product in summary and product can be sorted by values. (It would be best if you could give the admin the ability to choose simple themes of how the products are displayed.) 3.) Block management This is similar to myphpnuke or nuke that I want to be able to manage blocks. I can choose to create new blocks, change the order of the blocks. I should be able to put html codes inside those blocks. (If you are not familiar with blocks, please download myphpnuke at [login to view URL], take a look at this feature under block, blockcenter sections.) Some blocks will have functionalities in it. (or it's not all just html blocks.) There could be a type of block called "product block" where I could first deside where this block will be positioned, then I choose the most popular products that I want to list in the block. 4.) Others I may want banner management and tell-a-friend script integrated in the system later on. Please include in PMB how much you ask for these additional features. Your bid on this project does not include these other features. - Scripts should be well commented for future integration. - Please provide URL to past work in PMB. - I strongly prefer responsive programmer. I do not like waiting for 3 or 4 days for a person to reply my e-mail. - I reserve all rights to the scripts. - I usually pay half when the program is fully working on your server, then pay another half when it is working on my server. I could also pay in stages or deposit money in escrow account, but this should be discussed before project begins. Once the project begins, we will follow whatever we agreed upon.
