I need a Group Policy Editor MMC snap-in extension coded that I can then further expand on or extend via a separate MMC snap-in, the difficult part is it needs to access the <a href="[url removed, login to view]" http:="" windowssdk.msdn.microsoft.com="" en-us="" library="">IGPEInformation</a> interface from within the Group Policy Editor. You should be familiar with MMC snap-in development, knowledgeable in InterOp issues when communicating between unmanaged code and managed code environments... I have been able to extend the Group Policy Editor easily enough using both the new MMC3 [managed code framework (MCF)][1] (.Net 2) and the [Iron Ring framework][2] (.Net 1.1, already written in C#). The problem is you need to be able to do a QueryInterface on the DataObject returned by the MMC node in order to access the IGPEInformation interface. The new MMC3 MCF abstracts the DataObject, so I can't access it via the MCF. Therefore I need to code a native MMC snap-in to access the data object and it's interfaces. The Iron Ring framework is a native C# framework and includes complete samples, but doesn't currently support accessing the interface I need. So what I need is the Iron Ring framework & samples (pref. the VB.Net sample) to be extended to allow access to the IGPEInformation interface (where I can then code from) or a native MFC MMC snap-in extension to be coded that allows further snap-in extension via the MMC3 MCF that exposes the IGPEInformation interface of the currently open Group Policy Editor via some properties/methods/SharedData object. This later approach must be stable and must allow full access to the IGPEInformation interface (i.e. registry handles passed back from the interface etc. must be usable in a .Net MMC3 snap-in).

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done - including any work done in extending the Iron Ring framework and samples used to demonstrate the completing of the project.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition as a visual studio solution that compiles and runs in the development environment including all samples that may demonstrate extension MMC samples that implement all features of the IGPEInformation interface in a .Net language (preferably VB.Net).

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
