telebid auction not updating 2 columns, closed and winner

telebid penny auction does not declare winner when auction ends and admin auto bidder is not working. I had another programmer look into this problem and this is what he says "the table is not updating two columns closed, winner id when nobody bids, the closed column gets updated and that item appears in closed auctions, however when at least one person bids and item reaches its end time, the closed column does not get updated and further on end the last bid is not updated as winner id who bid that [login to view URL] you click on the item which gets ended, without refresh and see the detail page, there it says 'Congratulations ___', you have won this acution, on basis of last bid, however the actual table is never updated which was supposed to be.I tried to debug the code to see why auction controllers and other controllers are not working however I was not able to figure it out." Also when an auction ends the page "crashes" I get an error for website " database table missing" This may be difficult if you have never worked on telebid script before.
