To come up with 'NON-Functional' prototype interface java written GUI for a pub based on the DFD and word document attached. It should include functions like payroll, inventory, contain the ability to activate 'happy hour' (from 6-9pm) based on computer time and tabulate the price of the drinks automatically. It should also keep track of what a promoter sells.
Hostesses come into the pub as and when they like and their main responsibilities to accumulate enough points on each evening. Customers must pay for the hostess’s drink. Each drink cost S$20.00 and is equivalent to two points. Drink can be Beer, Wine, liquor or soft drink. The owner also wants to keep accurate tracking of points accumulated by each hostess and pay the hostess at the end of each the month. Points are recorded manually each day and for the first 50 points accumulated by each hostess, she will be paid S$25.00. For subsequent additional of every 10 points hostess will be paid S$4.00.
She must achieve 200 points a month, else the system should indicate which promoter fails to meet the target.
A glass of drink is worth 2 points. A jug is worth 8 points, and a bottle of liquor opened is worth 20 points.
The system should have a central control to activate the dance platform lighting and smoke release and music, on and off the four LCD TVs, two pool tables, Air con system, two computer with Internet access and one dart board as stated in the DFD.
This project only requires an interface to illustrate to users how the real thing will look like. Tabulations and fuctions can be hard coded, and over all it should be a simple assignment. all info can be found in the DFD.
