ownCloud is written in the PHP and JavaScript scripting languages. For change management, it employs SabreDAV, an open-source WebDAV server. ownCloud is designed to work with several database management systems, including SQLite, MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL.
