Restaurant Point of Sale System

We need a PC based point of sale system for a quick-service type restaurant. Systems similar to what we have in mind can be seen at <[login to view URL]> or <[login to view URL]> A Google search for Restaurant POS should show additional products, most of which will give you an idea of the type of product we need developed. Basic requirements are: Order entry with tracking of delivery and carry out, receipt printing, kitchen ticket, labels; pizza building menu; credit card processing interface; caller ID interface for phone orders; delivery dispatch; employee time clock in/out; menu management; frequent diner and gift card program/interface; in house accounts; back office reports. Table service features are NOT required. Complete specs and detailed requirements will be provided to potential winning bidder before final acceptance of bid. (NOTE: SEE MODIFIED REQUEST UNDER PLATFORM) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. 4) Use of 3rd party components is permissible IF approved by Buyer before use. 5) All images, graphics and photos must be royalty free and delivered with the code. 6) Source code will be well-documented in English. ## Platform The program should run under Windows XP or 2000 and should allow use of multiple terminals sharing the same database. The program must be WRITTEN IN DELPHI (D6 compatible). ///// MODIFIED REQUEST ///// We want to break this project into two phases. For the inital phase, we simply want a working prototype of the main data entry (client) screens without full back-end functionality. While we would still prefer a Delphi-based solution, we will also consider a browser based client which may use Flash or some other code. Please specify the language you are proposing.
