I have developed several websites using PHP with jquery and jquery-ui to query MySql databases and allow the client to do insert update and delete items in the database. The database info is then used to build web pages on the fly. Using MySql, I have developed requirements , designed, coded, rolled out into production and maintain, three ruby on rails sites. The first for categorizing, searchiing and displaying, Policies and procedures for a corporation. The second for managing and reporting the cleanup of a Major League Baseball park after each game. It includes equipment, contractors, and employees assigned to each game. The third for a health care provider to manage employee wellness which tracks consults, captures biometric data and provides extensive reporting. It contains 48 interrelated models. All three of these sites use AJAX to add, edit and delete items from the database and save on page loads. I have also developed a library of database lookup routines in ruby using ruby dbi drivers to query MySql and Microsoft sql server databases. I been a long term consultant (9 years) linux adminstration and software development for a Cleveland Company with 200+ employees and 30 automotive repair stores.
