Here is a quick recap of my understanding: Goal: Create a custom HTML ad unit that will contain an embedded form, which will submit a registration to a Community Builder instance. Workflow: 1. The user visits a landing page, where a custom ad unit is displayed, inviting the user to register for the community. 2. The user fills out the form and submits the registration. 3. The form registration is submitted to a stand alone PHP script that will forward the registration request to a target Community Builder component. NOTE: The stand alone script may need to add additional default information to the registration before submitting to CB, such as a temporary password. 4. The CB application will return the result of the registration submission to the stand alone script. If required, the stand alone script will trigger additional actions such as the "reset password" trigger in order to e-mail the registrant the log in credentials. 5. The user will be presented a success message. NOTE: The message and form of display is TBD. (Based on possibility, as determined by follow-up research), preference will be given to: a. Updating the ad unit right in place, so that the user does not leave focus of the landing page. b. Opening a new tab and forwarding the user to the actual CB success page. c.
