I have purchased the Karma Wordpress Theme from Themeforrest and am having some styling and functional issues with it. The site can be viewed at www.bridgebrideaux.com.au.
The biggest issue I am facing at present is the speed of the site itself. It is incredibly slow to render and as such, will often fail to render successfully and will omit pictures etc. The server which it is hosted on is quite reasonable and certainly provides more performance than what is currently being provided. As such, it is my belief that having too many plugins and potentially some of the Wordpress config is causing this awful load speed. I would like someone to come in and experiment with the config, plugins and any other server settings etc to improve this as I am very conscious of the Google search algorithms factoring in load time to ranking etc.
Further to the above, I recently updated the PHP on the web server to the most recent version. This has caused some of the styling of the website to fail, specifically in loading some of the photos within a box element which was part of the Theme. This error is most prevalent on [url removed, login to view] . I understand this to be a simple css fix however these elements are used of the entirety of the site and therefore I need a sound software fix to the underlying code base.
I am able to communicate through Skype and will be available to field any questions during the development period.
