Hi, I’m Matt and can help you (a webmaster for 22 years). I understand you must have HTML5 placeholder, title and validation pattern attributes for input fields in your form(s). I don’t understand why you need jQuery though. The reason is you can use plain javascript for web browsers that don’t support HTML5 or fail with form submission (Safari on IOS - iPhone/iPad). So you don’t need to load jQuery and have issues with that unless you require jQuery on the page in either case. The proposal: 1. Check and include every HTML5 markup required in your form(s). 2. Add a javascript validation at form submission and fail-over method. 3. Test everything in various browsers and deliver a script to you. For (2) I plan a proper regex pattern for e-mail address checking - existing scripts on the web disregard that: a) domain names can now be longer that 4 characters e.g. .online, .travel; and b) many e-mail services offer to add a plus sign and an additional text after the regular left part of an e-mail address, say example+freelancer@org. This can be used to establish a source where an e-mail was provided but potentially get spammed etc. Two days are needed to check the script on the iPad in Apple Store (because I don’t have one). I do have MacBook Pro with Safari and older laptop with Windows Vista (both with 3+ browsers).
