If sucessful you will be required to create a fairly simple component for the Joomla Platform. I can supply screenshots of other example checklists that we will be replicating.
Here is the brief:
The system will be a Checklist Learning Tool.
In the admin area, there will be a simple list view, showing your Checklists, and an edit view to edit the list.
In the edit view, You will be able to add the Main Title of the checklist in an input (which will generate the alias below that similar to articles), and its description in a textbox.
Next you will be able to add a Section Subheading, under which, you will be able to add rows as you would like. Each 'row' or 'checkklist item', will contain a heading, and when clicked/expanded, it will have content, will use the default selected WYSIWYG editor of Joomla.
You will be able to add a new row (checklist item), or new 'Section' inside the item which will happen using ajax. If you need help understanding how this works I can show you other component examples it is relatively simple.
You should be able to reorder, and delete checklist items too (agian using ajax/without page reload).
Checklist will be able to upload image for view layout(see frontend).
Each checklist will have ACL/user group access(can allow to view only for certain user groups, or public by default)
Checklists can be put in categories, uncategoriezed by default (joomla standard)
On the front end, you can set menu item to show a specific checklist, or list view of a specific category of checklists. On category view, it will display progress (if appropriate for logged in user), and it will show the title and image of checklist.
The checklist will display the heading, and each section collapsed by default, when you click on the heading it will show the content for that item (like accordian item). It will have a 'checkbox' for each item of the checklist, when every item in the section is checked, it will put a tick next to the section automatically.
There will be a 'progress bar' at the top and bottom of the checklist, showing the progress (this is a very simple calculation and bootstrap and joomla itself infact contains code already for these progress bars to work, again, very easy).
If a user is logged in to the site, it will remember what items they have checked off, and their progress in the checklist.
All component should be SEO friendly with standard joomla options. Attached is a screenshot of the front end. The rest should be covered above. A good component dev should be able to complete this task fairly quickly as most all of these features are built into the joomla framework.
This component is a test, we are looking for new joomla developers to work with us so show us your stuff!
Added front end screenshot of checklist view, and screenshot of admin area for clarification.
