I have a database of information about jobs, their schedule criteria, their logs and results metrics and attributes. I currently use old style batch jobs to analyze, evaluate and update these data and trigger jobs to run.
I want a desktop app for at least two roles. Admin Role is for those authorized to maintain underlying database of schedule data and criteria. Admin role has all features and functions. User Role is for those who need to see various levels of reporting on schedule status and request jobs to run on demand, only for those jobs/activity they are authorized for.
The Mobile app is very similar to Desktop app but scaled down for smaller screen, some features unavailable on phone like full database updating, more just the monitoring and requesting functions.
Underlying database is mysql but could be changed it there is an argument for it.
must run on Windows desktop and Windows Server2012 as well as cross platform for mobile phones and tablets. so maybe Electron, Angular or similar technology. want to be able to create an install package with executables to protect code if I sell to others.
I am looking for someone to work with me on making a modern version. I will own IP and code.
I am new to this and with the many responses I think i need to take a few days to flesh out requirements in greater detail so the developers have a more clear idea of the expectation and amount of work. so forgive me and be patient and I will repost near end of this week
