I am in need of some help in getting my website back up and running. My site is a WordPress site and I recently decided to give it a new and more professional look. The following are some minor fixes and changes that for someone who is a techy and very familiar with WordPress should not take very long.
This theme Arkitekt (see here: [login to view URL]) is already loaded to the site but I just don’t know enough to make the site look the way I want it to.
1. Want the site to look as close to this site ([login to view URL]) as possible with the few exceptions listed below.
• No “Meet Our Team”
• No “login” (shown at top of site)
• No “Leave a Reply” any place except under blog post
• Instead of the teal-blue/ green color replace with maroon like my logo (HEX: 500000; RGB: 80,0,0)
2. The theme uses Slider Revaluation plugin by ThemePunch (I loved the way I can have images of my past projects scrolling across the screen at the top). I purchased the license for it but for some reason unable to make it work which of course destroys the entire site (appearance). [login to view URL] needs to be fixed so that it works properly.
3. Make the text on pages like the “About” page black. I am assuming because of the theme it has it showing up in a light grey and that just seems hard to read.
4. Optimize the Wordfence plugin I am using.
5. Want a simple “Contact” page without a map
6. Resource Center – this should be a regular page like “About” and not a blog post page. This page I want to use for downloadable PDF files of booklets I have written for prospective clients. There would be a booklet cover image with a little text description below it (I will put pic and text later). When you click on the booklet you can download the PDF. I want to set it up where a pop-up to collect Name and email address is required before they are able to download the PDF. Use Sumo for this.
7. Also need a link to my Houzz page I am trying to get setup (will supply).
8. I will add all the text to each page. Just need the pages setup and you to direct me where I can go to edit them.
9. Will need a page for each of the following.
• Custom Home Design
• Secure Home Design
• Bidding/ Negotiating/ Price Discussions
• Construction Administration (owners representative)
• Custom Home Design Phases
