Build a Website

We have a client that requires an existing website to be re-designed and re-coded. We will provide the HTML template for the new design so little design work will be required. The exiting website is located here: [login to view URL] The new web template is located here: [login to view URL] The website needs to be re-coded to incorporate all features of the existing website and ensure they function correctly. The site is to be designed in PHP/AJAX or PHP/JS. The website is basically a directory where visitors can search for a door supplier. The search criteria is based on category, keywords, region and search radius. A postcode database is provided with co-ordinates for the distance part. The idea is that visitors can select multiple suppliers and send an email to all suppliers through the system who will then in turn reply with a quote outside of the system (visitors must register to email suppliers through the system). The search results will show all supplier details including distance from the user etc, if the company is not registered the option to send them an email must be disabled. We have a database of suppliers and anyone not subscribed to the service should still receive the enquiry however the visitors email address must be partially blanked out e.g. dian***(at)*****.co.uk. This is to encourage the company to register with the system. The supplier side must allow suppliers to select the door types they supply from a pre-defined list of categories. Suppliers must also be allowed to register new accounts and edit the new or existing information on file. We would also like suppliers to be able to subscribe to bronze, silver and gold memberships, each will have advantages such as preferred listing results etc. A small admin backend to view payments, disable accounts and contact suppliers etc will also be required. All forms and email addresses etc must be validated. The websites purpose is to allow suppliers to register and subscribe to the service for a period of 12 months each time. The payments must be handled by paypal and be integrated into the site using IPN. The existing website isn’t fully functional however please feel free to register to see the supplier end, some example information is there already and can be taken as an example only. Other on-going works will also be required once the system is in place. This will be discussed at a later date.
