That is a novel idea - using an ontology to describe software requirements. I can see how valuable that would be. It allows for SPARQL queries of requirements and a rich relationship model that would be useful for requirements and architecture traceability. My experience in Semantic technology started in the late 1990's when the Resource Description Framework (RDF) was released. My first customer was Universal Studios. Since then I have been using Semantic technology to assist manufacturing clients in the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industries. The primary goal for those projects has been to federate meta-data from multiple, disparate systems into a clear "single version of the truth." These systems use SPARQL, OWL, RDF, and other customized tools. I enjoy the challenges and opportunities that come with this type of project. Questions: 1. Are languages other than PHP (Java, C#) acceptable? 2. Do you require query functionality, i.e. a SPARQL endpoint for the repository of SRS instances? 3. How many SRS instances do you require?
