Job Overview: We are looking for a talented Back End Web Developer to help us create the API for the next-gen immersive online learning platform.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Write RESTful APIs used by front-end developers working on a variety of platforms.
Optimize the web application for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data validation throughout the project.
Authenticate and authorize users between multiple environments.
Be responsible for identifying bottlenecks and improving performance.
Participate in testing and code reviews.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Proven hands-on back end development experience with PHP using the Laravel Framework.
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases (mainly MySQL) and ORM technologies.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT.
The ability to work as a team.
A can-do attitude.
Nice to haves:
The following qualifications will also be considered a great plus:
Understanding of project management tools such as JIRA.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms (JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3) and how to develop with them.
Prestashop back end development.
C# development.
Photon Networking Engine server coding.
