I use Grab, Requests, Selenium and BeautifulSoup libraries for this purpose. If the website uses Javascript extensively, you should consider Selenium. Otherwise Requests + BeautifulSoup or Grab will be the best and quickest options. The script can save the results to a database or a file and the images to a given folder.
