I have fixed this issue which happened to me about a dozen times, as I have 5 WordPress blogs, the first being created in 2007 and has suffered so many PHP and WordPress updates. This kind of issue occurs because of incompatibility between the current version of PHP on your hosting and the version of WordPress (or a plugin) as they change something and publish an update almost every month. Please note that if it turns out to be a plugin issue and the developer of the plugin stopped maintaining it, you might have to compromise that specific plugin. If you accept the proposal, please get back to me first with the name and the platform of your hosting, as well as the list of plugins (if you can obtain it).
