background subtraction for people detection

We are looking for someone who has PROVEN experience with background subtraction to distinct people from other objects using a top-view camera angle. To give you an example, if a delivery man with a lot of big packages passes by the camera, that the person will be separated from the boxes he is carrying. Another example, when two persons are carrying a big box together, that the solution will see them as two persons and not as one single object as the two persons are holding the box and therefore are connected. There are many examples online, and we don’t want to “reinvent the wheel”. We do not want to develop an idea that we think as new when it is not better than already existing solutions. That’s why we are looking for someone who has done this already so we can save time and make a better product.

We need someone as an advisor. We have already two good python/machine learning specialists, so we want to extend the team with someone who we can hire on an hourly basis as an advisor to get the best possible solution. It is essential that you only bid on this project when you have made a similar solution!!!
