I've developed a new interface in C++ using Open-CV. It takes input by waving LED light in front of webcam. Basically, users had to write in air and the thing gets written on computer screen. Pretty cool, isn't it. I call the interface Slate. Slate also recognises human handwriting written on it. With this project of yours, I intend to develop algorithms for face recognition and optimise already existing algorithms. What your project description says is pretty much exactly what I wanted to do. In your project, you want a recognition system for a fixed number of people and that's around 5000. I beleive that 5000 is a small number and I can code the recognition system. I've been practising coding since when I was 11 years old an I beleive that I'll get the work done in given time period.
