I would like a way to make a DOS batch or powershell or ideally also a Perl Script on windows to be called from shell extension So basically I have some script that does something on files inside a directory, say a dos batch ie .bat or a windows perl script .pl and I want to instead of copying that script into every directory, i want to simply have it installed as Windows Explorer Shell extension so i can simply do a Right Click inside directory and run that script.

Two solutions depends on the requirement: 1. The shell extension can be displayed while right click on a file. 2. The shell extension can be displayed while right click on a folder. A simple registry change can meet any of above 2 requirements.

If I understood correctly, your requirement is to get a Right Click option to run a batch file which should get executed and provide you output. If you can give me little more description, I can update you more on the solution.
