Job description: Infinite Fingers is in the process of creating a graphical user interface for an embedded panel PC based on C++ and Qt Quick (QML). We are looking for a developer who could design and develop the software and deploy it on the hardware. It interacts with an already developed core software via MQTT and displays historical data stored in InfluxDB time series database. By the end of June 2018, the interface must be able to: generate configuration pages using JSON formatted metadata and submit the configuration changes display graphs of selected metrics with dynamic time range selection display information pages with information depending on user and/or system configuration display "wizard" pages with configuration changes and embedded multimedia (visual help)

hi we have very good experience in working with Qt/c++/QML previous work : - thermal monitor of 8 temp ds18b20 sensors on raspberypi + 7" touchscreeen - gui for 3d printer on pi touchscreen current work : - street big screens run( videos + scroll news text ) - gui for 3d printer all these work using Qt/c++/QML embedded on ( raspberry pi 3) we using MQTT technology too to transfer data between server and the street big screen so if you want direct live monitoring with MQTT without database in middle we can do it note: - we provide free demo before accept bid - we need full details to set fixed price (in milestones ) not per hour - WE DON'T USE (InfluxDB) BEFORE we using MYSQL,MONGODB

Hello, my latest big Qt/QML project is multimedia player CherryPlayer that I'm developing latest 6+ years. It is my hobby project. I can work on new project 40 hours per week. And one note. I had some experience a year ago with running QML application on embeded Linux device and it worked slow. This test application was built on Qt version 5.7. Similar test application with usual Qt 5.7 widgets had much better perfomance. This perfomance bug should be fixed in Qt 5.10 if use another QML scene rendering method but this need to check. So I advise you to compare perfomance of QML and Qt widgets test applications running on your embeded device to be sure that using QML is the right solution for this task. Building UI on QML and Qt widgets is completely different development process. Please contact to me if you have any questions.
